Each therapist performs Thai oil massage technique differently. My Thai oil massage treatment practices the same techniques to Watpo Thai Traditional Medicine School in Bangkok. Unlike Watpo’s therapeutic Thai massage techniques, Watpo’s Thai oil massage is very soothing, relaxing, and gentling massage.

Watpo’s Thai oil massage practice is not designed for people who prefer deep pressure massage or may be experiencing muscle stiffness. The treatment is not aim to relieve pain as well. The session does not focus massaging on any particular part of your body. Therapist massages most part of the body, and the goal of the treatment is to provide a maximum relaxation benefit only. Most clients felt asleep during the treatment!

In Thailand, you will find Thai oil massage treatment at spas. This technique is done by performing a very slow and gentle massage stroke. While receiving this relaxing Thai oil massage, you may feel like there is a gentle river flowing through your body. This provides a noticeable reduction in stress and anxiety and will also promotes improvement in your sleep.
